All Kinds Of Pissed Off

Man, I’m really getting irked at things today… Read this first.

I think what she is suggesting is so stupid, men and women everywhere should rise up and tell her she’s starting to talk like it’s the movie 1984.

I mean, I totally understand the need to keep sex offenders off the streets and away from harming people. That is totally acceptable. But what she is suggesting is not. Basically, she is suggesting branding anybody that has any kind of sex-related offense as a sex offender and, more or less, fucking the rest of their life up for it. It’s just like how if you have a felony you can’t ever get hired anywhere, regardless of what the felony was and how it relates to you as a person today.

You can become a registered sex offender in all sorts of ways, and not all of the so-called “minor” ones she talks about actually lead to anything. Urinating on the side of a building in an alleyway because you just absolutely had to go can register you as a sex offender, and even in these days, with these “weak” laws as she would call them, being a registered sex offender can really mess things up for you. Let’s not overlook that I know of people who had sex in a car where both were 14 and now the then-boy is a registered sex offender. It was consentual for Christ’s sake!

This kind of stuff pisses me off. Crucifying the masses for the sins of the few. I’m not saying don’t go after sex offenders, I’m just saying there has to be a better way rather than considering all sex offenders future rapists.

Hear, hear, Robert. Plus, her suggestion that we release drug offenders in order to make room for sex offenders……………uhhhhhh. Ohhhkay. Someone DON’T lock her up ’cause she’s on crack. I’m not saying all drug addicts are capable of committing worse crimes than getting fucked up on something, but there are times when a drug deal goes sour and innocent lives are destroyed…What I’m saying is that these people need a fix just as much as sex criminals need a fix…and they’re capable of doing anything to get it. You can’t trade one for the other just because some CNN airhead thinks one’s worse than the other.
